Things are CRAZY here December 19, 2007
As you all might have noticed, there has not been a new post recently. There is a good reason. I just purchased the contents of a small press shop and have been busy cleaning and looking through the new purchases. We have been finding places for all the acquisitions. Items include: 8 x 12 Chandler and Price OS, 12 x 18 C&P NS, 3 furniture racks, 8 type cabinets, paper, foil stamper, slug cutter, loads of type and dingbats, wood type etc. I have a feeling I will never get through all of this stuff but as I go through it, I will be posting things for sale. I would love to keep everything but, unfortunately I do not have the space. Please check back for a listing of things for purchase if your interested. In the meantime, have a great holiday!
Nice blog! I’m planning to design and print a letterpress poster, and was trolling the net to find information. Haven’t done this since grad school 17 years ago. I’ve bought a couple of pads of Bristol board to print on, and some newsprint for proofing. I’ll send a week at my old college working on this thing. I’ll post the results on my blog at myopendoor.net. I’m going to read some of your posts here too. Happy New Year!
