Hot Pink Business Cards for Tonic

Could you think of anything more flashy than hot pink business cards?

Tonic is an urban boutique with two shops located in Saskatoon. They designed these great business cards with the circle pattern on the back. We letterpress printed the cards on a 220lb. fluorescent white stock (Crane’s Lettra) using both hot pink and transparent white ink. The cards were designed by Craig Leontowicz, a designer also based in Saskatoon.

The transparent white ink was used on the pattern on the back of the card to add definition to the circle pattern. Because of the heavy coverage on the back and medium solid on the front, we printed the back first with a decent impression and then the front to ensure consistent impression and ink coverage. These cards were printed on one of our 8×12 Chandler & Price presses.

As if the hot pink color wasn’t enough on the front we custom mixed an edge color to match the hot pink to paint the edges. Check out the photos and more importantly check out some of the great fashion finds at Tonic if you’re ever in Saskatoon!
