Recover Design Studio Letterpress Cards

Re|Cover breathes new life into old furniture with a modern twist.

Recover Design Studio is the creation of Christin Wingo, a Birmingham, Alabama interior designer. She worked with Sonia Davis (Sonia Davis Design) to design new business cards. Once they settled on a design, we worked with them to bring the cards from design to paper. I had fun photographing these cards, the simple and clean lines make them easy on the eyes and evoke a modern styling. The photo above is a stereoscopic image – cross your eyes until the photos overlap and bring them into focus.

Christin’s business cards were printed on 110lb. pearl white in two colors.

The ink colors used on the business cards were PMS cool gray 9 and 110U (chartreuse). PMS 110U is a really pretty color and one that we’ve used on wedding invitations in the past.

These photos are great for showing the texture on the Lettra stock. There is a subtle texture on the front of the sheet and a flat finish on the back. It’s really important to make sure you print on the right side.
