Lindsey Hene Letterpress Cards November 18, 2011
A single color business card with style and sophistication.
We wanted to share these fun single color business cards on the blog today. Lots of people add flair with color, we’re not immune to sticking edge color in a design for pop, but its nice to see a card with style that achieves it using only type. Lindsey (Lindsey Hene Interiors), who had worked with a designer on the cards, came to us to get them printed.
The production of the cards was pretty simple: We printed on 110lb Pearl White Lettra using metallic gold ink. The designer Lindsey worked with was Ryan Carroll, an Atlanta, GA based designer / photographer.
We love type, and the use of a blackletter engraved typeface as the balance to Lindsey’s calligraphy style logo is great. It’s something that reproduces quite well with letterpress.
