Valentine’s Day Letterpress Cards

Vintage perforated cards perfect for the paper lover (♥♥♥♥♥).

Any holiday is the perfect excuse for us to create new designs and Valentine’s day is alway a special one to us. We decided to do something different this year, we designed and printed a sheet of cards with 6 different designs. The project was inspired by those vintage perforated cards we all used as kids. We brainstormed some corny sayings and the illustrations drew themselves! They’re available for purchase right now in our shop.

The sheet was printed on a Vandercook Universal III proof press in two colors. We custom mixed the red and blue inks to get a perfect match. After printing, we perforated the sheets and cut them down to 8.5″ x 11″.

Each sheet contains 6 different designs. We love corny sayings more than the average person, so we picked our favorite six and designed custom illustrations for each. The sayings include, “Owl Be Yours”, “Bee Mine”, “You Float My Boat”, “You Rock”, “You’re Sweet”, and my favorite “You’re DINO-mite”.

You can keep the sheet or tear off individual cards and spread Valentine’s Day cheer to your friends and loved ones! If you look real close you can see all of the love (and ♥s) we poured into each design.
