Don’t always believe everything you read!

We posted photos of Caroline’s completed business cards on friday (C McKeough UnLTD. Letterpress Cards) and promised to post photos we took while they were being printed. We weren’t able to photograph everything but got a good range of photos from proofs to printing to cutting. If we missed something you’d like to see let us know in the comments and we’ll try to include them in the the next production shoot we do.

As a student, its really important to have business cards.

Why is it important for student’s to have business cards? Well just like everyone else, networking is really important to landing the job of your dreams. As a student I met a lot of great contacts but without a business card how are those people supposed to remember you? Any business card will do, but for people who want to make their cards stand out letterpress is a great choice.

Foil stamping and letterpress are the perfect mix of techniques for this stationery set.

Boy were there a lot of pieces to photograph for this suite we recently printed for Krisztina Hoeber Photography. It took almost as much time to photograph as they did to print! Photographing pieces like this can be tough to capture the full size and the detail. The gold foil adds an extra hurdle since the light has to be just right to catch the shine and reflection.

3-Color letterpress business cards for @jasonsanders.

When we saw Jason’s concept for business cards we thought it was pretty neat. After all, people spend a lot of time, money, and effort on design that communicates the right message. A business card is all about grabbing your attention, telling you who they are and, how to continue the dialogue. We think that Jason’s card do just that and look really great at the same time! Red 032 and black ink merge together to form the logo.

It’s a sunny Saturday on Long Island and we thought what better to do than post a business card up on the blog. We printed these business card for Frank of Frank Woll Designs recently and really liked the simplicity of the design. We worked through two iterations of Frank’s cards to really nail down the look her was going for. Check out the rest of the photos and let us know what you think!
