Special letterpress holiday cards with a stencil!

It’s the new year – Happy New Year – and we’re back with some really great projects! If you haven’t checked it out yet, look at our 2011 Year in Ink Review – it covers all of the great instagram photos we took this year. Division Of/ designed these special holiday cards for their clients – they’re a creative agency based in NYC. We’ve collaborated with them in the past on holiday cards and posters. We love the creative use of the stencil with the letterpress print. See all of the posters after the break.

We letterpress printed two pieces for the holiday card and gift set. The first card was printed on 110lb fluorescent white lettra with silver metallic ink. The second card, the backing for the stencil, was printed on French’s 140lb muscletone black, again using silver ink. We rolled these guys out on our Vandercook using photopolymer plates.
