Vintage perforated cards perfect for the paper lover (♥♥♥♥♥).

Any holiday is the perfect excuse for us to create new designs and Valentine’s day is alway a special one to us. We decided to do something different this year, we designed and printed a sheet of cards with 6 different designs. The project was inspired by those vintage perforated cards we all used as kids. We brainstormed some corny sayings and the illustrations drew themselves! They’re available for purchase right now in our shop.

Special letterpress holiday cards with a stencil!

It’s the new year – Happy New Year – and we’re back with some really great projects! If you haven’t checked it out yet, look at our 2011 Year in Ink Review – it covers all of the great instagram photos we took this year. Division Of/ designed these special holiday cards for their clients – they’re a creative agency based in NYC. We’ve collaborated with them in the past on holiday cards and posters. We love the creative use of the stencil with the letterpress print. See all of the posters after the break.

Happy New Year!

We wanted to do a review of all the great instagram photos we posted this year. We started posting daily photos of our work to instagram from shots of new machines being installed, to ink mixing, platemaking, letterpress printing, foil stamping, edge coloring, and the list goes on! Today we’re posting business cards we recently printed for Chantale Fontaine, an interior designer based in Montreal, Québec, Canada (Her company is CFDesigner). She worked with Maxime of Maxetbert, a graphic design studio also in Québec. They wanted to combine a contemporary look mixed with a classic high-end finish (that’s where the letterpress came in). The cards turned out great with a good mix of color and a touch of edge coloring to add pop.

With the holidays fast approaching, we decided to create a limited edition t-shirt with a special holiday message. When we say LIMITED, we mean it! There are only 5 of these shirts up for sale. The shirt (shown above) is screen printed on both sides with white ink. The dolce press logo was printed on the front and the holiday message on the back.

We posted photos and production info for a special set of business cards we printed for Tyler and Antoinette from At Media.
