This fire-breathing matchbox man is the perfect spokesperson for a Brulee Torch.
We finally got around to photographing these amazing letterpress cards for Andre da Loba. At a size of 4″ x 6″ tall, these letterpress cards are definitely hard to lose. Andre is an amazing artist with a passion for using a wide variety of things to create his art.
The postcard sized prints were printed on one of our firsts presses, an 8×12 Chandler & Price OS that dates back to the turn of the 19th Century. We used the popular 110lb fluorescent white lettra and letterpress printed black and warm red ink. The amount of ink coverage, especially for the black, mean that we had to use all 3 rollers on the press. We really like how the black adds shading to the matchbox man and the retro bus and graphics Andre incorporated into his design.
NOTE: No paper products were harmed in the production of these photos.
