Today we're showcasing the newest addition to our Classic Collection of wedding invites!
The New Paltz suite was inspired by the gorgeous wild flowers of Upstate New York. The invitation suite has gold foil and a flat printed floral motif shown with our custom oversized envelope.
The envelope shows off so much of the matte gold liner - its perfectly paired with the matte gold foil.
The watercolor concept is continued with matching table cards, program fans, and escort cards. You can even customize the watercolor to coordinate with your event.
It's Sunday and time for a fun new wedding design! Today we're featuring a circle diecut wedding invitation that's far from ordinary.
The invite features a monogram on the front and the wording on the back on 6.25" diecut paper sandwiches.
What did we make the sandwiches from? Only the most Scrumptious shimmery stardream filled with 3 layers of fabulous fuchsia cover stock.
The color scheme the bride and groom picked was Hot Pink paired with tones of Gray and Silver.
Check out the newest addition to our Classic Collection of wedding invites!
The Rye Brook wedding suite has black letterpress on an Ice White stock for a classic, simple yet elegant look.
The invite is paired with our custom oversized envelopes and lined with a purple paper.
Another great addition to our Classic Collection of wedding invites!
The Irvington wedding suite is foil stamped in copper and complimented with a wood grain pattern.
The wood grain is printed with letterpress - blind (without ink) - to add texture to the design without distracting from the copper foil.
The invite is paired with our custom oversized envelopes and lined with a green shimmer paper.
Wedding season is here! Did you get engaged? If so you're part of 43% of couples that get engaged from November to Januaury.
We continue the Classic Collection features with the Bedford Suite for all of the newly engaged couples.
This suite is unique with the letterpress printed border, shown here in solid black.
The border highlights the minimal design and the larger size of our oversized invitations + envelopes.
Larchmont is the newest addition to our classic collection and its also the first one of the new designs that was designed as a wide (landscape) invite.
The point of the classic collection was to emphasive the paper and printing.
Bright and colorful invitations (what we're known for) are amazing but its not the right fit for every event.
This suite in particular was printed in all black to demonstrate the beauty of a one-color letterpress invitation.
Pairing the invite with a patterned liner is another great way to elevate the look of your wedding invitations.
Holidays are always a busy time for the studio but we're still working on new designs getting ready for the 2016 Wedding Season.
This suite, the Greenburgh, has a kiss of rose gold foil on the invite, can you spot it?
The monogram is shown in an engraved font which always letterpress prints beautifully.
The invite is complimented by the liner - shown here with a diagonal stripe that was flat printed in black.
Numéro quatre in our Classic Collection!
This suite is printed entirely in gold foil, giving it such a regal look.
Say 'I' if you like monograms! The wedding monogram mixes the bride and groom's initials in a hand drawn script. Calligraphy is such a special touch to include in your invitation.
Just like the Yorktown wedding suite, this invitation uses our large polka dot foil liner to match with the oversized design.
To find out more about foil stamping options and custom monograms, see the full post for details!
Today we're releasing the newest addition to our Classic Collection - The Mount Vernon Suite.
The simple styling of this suite is paired with black letterpress and a touch of silver foil for the bride + groom's names.
For the envelope liner, we matched the classic design with our large striped liner pattern - flat printed in rich black. Our oversized envelopes are larger than a standard A9.
Our invitations can be customized from the ink/foil colors to the layout and fonts. Read the full post to find out more about making this design unique to your wedding.
Today's feature is the latest invitation suite we're adding to the collection - The Yorktown Suite!
As part of the Classic Collection, the simplistic beauty of the design speaks for itself.
The light ink color and bright foil add a fresh touch to the classic design.
The foil on the invitation is paired with our small dots liner in gold foil too!
All of our Classic Collection invites are available oversized with our new larger envelopes.
A few weeks ago we announced the release of our new Classic Weddings collection on instagram.
The new wedding invitation suites mix classic designs with clean typography and a touch of flair with foil stamping.
This invitation - Scarsdale - keeps it classy with black letterpress + gold foil.
The Classic Collection is available oversized with our new larger envelopes. The black and white striped liner looks great in them.
This week we're thrilled to debut our Hampton Bays invitation suite - the newest addition to our wedding collection.
The trifold invite includes the events on the middle panel, and the accommodations and rsvp (tear-off) on the last panel. The Hampton Bays program is a 6-page fan with gold grommets - flat printing makes them an affordable option for wedding programs.

Time for the second installment of our Wedding Wednesday series! Today we're featuring the Bohemia wedding suite which was inspired Par Avion with a modern twist.
We're in love with the program which we designed as a customized passport that was flat printed on cover stock - perfect for a destination wedding!
The Airplane thank you cards for the suite are also available in our shop as single cards and six packs.
We continued the Air Mail / Airplane theme and designed a boarding pass save the date which you can customize with your destination's airline and flight information.
Today is the first post in a new series we're calling Wedding Wednesdays (#WW for short). You guessed it, every Wednesday we'll feature a new invitation or suite.
The new Wedding Collection is finally here and the first suite we're rolling out is the Bellport. Head over to the wedding section of the website to see more photos of the suite.
In addition to the traditional invite and envelope, the suite features a Save the Date (right), coaster, menu, direction card, and accommodation card.

One of our biggest questions with Brides that visit our shop is: "What can we customize on an invitation?"
Our answer always is anything! We wanted to share these two unique invites which are variations on our Hydrangea wedding suite. We changed almost everything from the ink colors and paper stock, to the florals, and typefaces.
The first invite for Bonnie and Aish used a palm tree for their destination wedding and on the second one we created a three-color sunflower design. The floral choices don't end there, with thousands of different flowers which one is your favorite?
When it comes to invitations, more options are always better. We recently finished these invitations for Leslie & Sean (designed by Design23) which were flat printed, an affordable way to print invitations without sacrificing quality.
The suite consisted of an invite, reply, and accommodations card. Since flat printing is a digital process you can print as many colors as you want, unlike letterpress which is typically limited to 3 colors.
The entire suite was backed in blue paper which gives them a custom look. For more information on flat printing and pricing, contact us.
A new custom wedding invitation is the perfect way to end the week. We designed these orange and navy colored invitations for Tracy and Edward, which includes a mounted invite, response card, and matching envelopes.
The ceremony and reception was held at Atlantis Marine world, an aquarium located on the east end of Long Island, NY. The fall wedding made the blue and orange color combination a perfect choice.

Check out the newest wedding invitation we added to the website. We designed these invitations for Sabrina and George for their vineyard themed wedding in the Fingerlakes (upstate NY). Ithaca, NY is home to numerous wineries - which are part of the fingerlakes wine trail - and the bride and groom wanted their invitations to reflect that.
The invite was designed to look like a wine label and was letterpress printed on Neenah Lettra with gold foil accents. The tree was hand drawn by the brides mom and gives the invitation a personal touch.
See more photos of the wedding suite in our catalog (Sabrina & George).
Come join us tonight for a Bridal Showcase of featured vendors at Villa Russo. We'll have all of our newest invitations and day of wedding pieces (menu, program, table cards, etc.) for brides to look at and of course lots of candy and paper goods to give away!
January is always exciting, we're busy designing and printing new invitations and the wedding season is just about to kick off. We spent Saturday printing and foil stamping some of these new designs and the variation of colors is amazing.
From pink, to yellow, to blue, orange, white and even metallic red, we're ecstatic about all of the variety! It's not just about colors though, this year we wanted to focus on the details and we're working to emphasize each process we use.
One invite we worked on this week was a trifold 'booklet' , the perfect option for destination weddings. The end result is a an invite any bride could fall in love with.
Stay tuned for more details on our new invitations as they're printed ...
We wanted to share a few snapshots of a variety of edge colored cards from business cards to stationery and wedding invitations. We think its a great way to add a touch of color to your letterpress project. Almost any color can be painted on the edge of your cards from light pastels to bright neons and even dark colors like purple and black. Metallic colors can also be painted on the edges like the silver and gold metallic cards shown below. We can even match the edge color to the colors printed on your cards or stationery.
Our Valentine’s Day 2009 letterpress giveaway had some great engagement stories and when it came down to selecting a winner we had a hard time choosing. We picked high school sweethearts, Karlee & Benjamin, who had a great engagement story. We printed their Save the Date cards this weekend and they turned out great … at least we think they did!
The cards are printed on our 100% cotton paper (110#) using our vegetable oil based inks. We custom mixed the chartreuse and chocolate brown ink and after a little work we had these great Save the Date cards. The scalloped circles look great pressed into the paper and we paired the Save the Date with a matching square chartreuse envelope to add a pop of color. We’re very happy to have this design and several other new invitation sets added to our wedding portfolio.
Well not really, but if you’ve checked out our portfolio you might think that white paper is the only thing we can print on, which certainly isn’t true. We recently wrote about business cards we printed on kraft stock (blog post: What the Kraft?), but have been getting more inquiries about different paper options. Men’s Vogue contacted us a while back to print letterpress invitations for a special event they were hosting at the new Vertu boutique. They wanted something outrageously thick since the invites were being delivered by hand for this exclusive event and so we printed the invitations on 1/4″ thick black card stock using silver metallic ink.
Letterpress invitations for corporate events is certainly not a new trend, in fact we posted a while back about letterpress invitations we printed for First Kentucky Trust’s Open House (see post: corporate letterpress). Shortly after printing those invitations we got a call from Men’s Vogue to print these invitesfor a special event. Audemars Piguet, who sponsored the event, makes fine Swiss watches which was the inspiration for the design.
The watch design was printed in silver metallic ink and shows the intricate details of the gears which when letterpress printed provides a unique effect on the paper. Below are some closer pictures of the design which shows the metallic shimmer of the ink and the deep impression we were able to achieve using our thick cotton stock.
These invites are a great example of how letterpress printing can be used to create a unique invitation and start your event off on the right foot.

We’re going to start a new series of posts on new ideas for wedding invitations whether it involves a special printing technique or finishing method, or a unique design. Today’s post will be the first one in the series about new invitation ideas. What makes these invitations unique are the custom liner featuring the reply information instead of a traditional response card. Read the entire post for more information and photos of these invites.
