    Where’s the color?
    September 6, 2009

Color is always great but, sometimes lack of color can be pretty amazing too.  Just check out these cards.  These cards were designed by Justin Belcher and Printed by us at Dolce Press.  The negative space was actually pressed on these cards, allowing the image to be raised (kind of a faux emboss).

The use of the 220lb cotton paper is best when pressing the negative space to allow for maximum impression and leaves more of the paper to be raised.

This card has a personal touch. The design that was printed as a blind impression was created by Ashleigh Tucker showing us her awesome talents in knitwear design.

Ashleigh’s  card was printed on 110lb cotton paper (our house stock) with clear and black ink.
