A new letterpress design perfect for your nautical-themed wedding!
We thought it’d be nice to mix it up a bit and take a small break from the barrage of business cards we’ve been sharing. We’re happy to announce a new addition to our wedding line, the Hamptons Save the Date. The design is available immediately and for those interested in a sample, please contact a wedding coordinator.
We originally designed this save the date for Meg and her bride to be Claire, a great couple from Boston, Massachusetts. The card was letterpress printed on 110lb cotton paper in a soft-white color. A lot of people ask why cotton paper is so common, and the simple answer is that takes a nice impression and allows for a nice coverage of ink (like the full solids in the sailboat below).
Meg and Claire knew that they wanted to use our Anchor wedding invitations (which we shared a while back on the blog: Tea Length Wedding Invitations) but wanted something with a little more flair for their save the dates. A custom design is a great choice for couples who want to create something unique. One of the great features of our letterpress line is that everything can be customized with an existing design (from the fonts, layout, graphics, colors, and paper).
The full solid of navy blue required a double hit to get a nice coverage and to make the color pop!
The envelope was also letterpress printed in navy blue with a matching mini sailboat.
